Social Media 201: Behind The Scenes

Somehow often my best posts involve videos by Darren Williger. Darren created a “behind the scenes” video summarizing our experiences at Social Media 201 which I just had to share (my own perspective is described in this post).

I barely appear in this video (fine with me!), part of because Darren’s camera had a hiccup during my talk.. and when I do appear, from some reason I’m whispering (not sure what was going through my mind…). Also featured are Darren, Bille Baty, Jeff Dance, Joe Kennedy, Eric Weaver, Kris Ruby – and even the SeattleWineGal.

I could always enhance with an Udi montage video made of snapshots – but yes the sprint Palm Pre had serious memory loss issues upon returning to Chicago – all my photos/videos lost – EXCEPT you may have the backup! Then again I also had that 3rd camera – let me see what I can find… The good news is I can take the 12seconds from 2:00 through 2:12 and upload to 12seconds.TV and try to get it viral – like 20 hits viral

All kidding aside – the Social Media 201 event was absolutely INCREDIBLE, my highlights being the time we all got to hang out getting to know each other more in person- this video refreshed those great memories!

Thanks for the offer… I think an Udi montage video would be quite unnecessary

I do have the photos/videos I copied from you.. though I did erase some of the bigger videos that had nothing to do with me (actually, may even have them on my laptop!)

SM201 was incredible and seeing this really brought back good memories. Looking forward to the next SM201 and our next meeting!

Well Doctor Udi,. A montage video could be entertaining to say the least. On the outside it may very well be informative as well.

Hey James… I do intend to create more videos. However, in those I don’t to whisper or say nonsense *groan* Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to joke around. Darren brings this out in people, you know

Well all need laughter in our lives. Joking sometimes brings out the best in people. As long as the world laughs with us and not at us we are good.

I most definitely agree. That’s why my Twitter bio starts with – before anything else – “The most serious nonsense-maker in the world”.
