Thats a great list of tools there. Thank you for the information. I myself personally prefer Google, though it seems Bing is coming up these days. I still don't get why people use Yahoo, in my opinion its the worst! Thanks for the information.

Recipe for SERP success:

1. Lightly keyworded pages with natural in-site backlinks;
2. External backlinks;
3. More backlinks;
4. Repeat steps 1-3 as necessary;

5. Head for the hot tub.

admin, I wish Bing was the top search engine hehe! I have also been extremely "lucky" ranking there for highly competitive search terms.

I often wonder why Bing's dev or spam team can't filter those spammy site better, like G does.

Restaurant Loans ( :) ), to be honest, I don't think there's one clear cut rule. Since I've written this post I created a new website for a *very* competitive phrase, and virtually overnight it jumped to #2 in Bing. Why? I don't know. It's not supposed to work this way, even if you just look at it from a pure SEO perspective - the site was very new and was beating old sites with tons of link.

The result was that I got for that site almost as much traffic as I get for all of my other sites combined. Weird, huh? And that site was and still is brand new.

Also, forgive me for changing the spammy site you listed. No need to use the exact site ;)

I somewhat agree with their conclusions, but from my personal experience Bing doesn't rate better older domains, instead they rate better domains that have the exact keywords you are trying to rank for... even very spammy domains like www.spammiest-site-in-the-world.spam could rank very well in Bing search (if your search term included those words...)

Hi Chakrapayne! I would prefer that you do not copy my article directly (as search engines will penalize both you and me), but you can take one paragraph and link to me - and it'll also generate a backtrack back to your article (which is what I've done with the articles above).
